The challenge
The platform had to serve thousands of destination pages with instant transitions and structured SEO data, with almost no maintenance.
What I did
- 01Built a Next.js app with SSR and incremental static regeneration for fast indexing.
- 02Used the Notion API as a headless CMS so the team writes travel guides in Notion.
- 03Implemented structured data for destinations, itineraries and ratings.
- 04Deployed via GitHub CI/CD to Cloudflare Pages for fast global edge caching.
Results
- Sub-second page rendering worldwide with 95+ Core Web Vitals.
- Fully automated publishing from a Notion draft to a live page.
